About Me
I grew up on the sunny Gold Coast and studied Psychological Science at Griffith University. After graduating in 2019, I began my career in an early intervention centre for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, working as a Behaviour Therapist.
In 2021, I began my first role as a Behaviour Support Practitioner and have since supported people across a wide range of ages, diagnoses, needs, and environments.
I later progressed into clinical supervision and team leadership roles, where I supported junior practitioners to strengthen their clinical skills, confidence and ethical practice.

My Approach to Behaviour Support
My Approach to Behaviour Support
About Me
My approach to Behaviour Support is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and genuine respect for the person behind the behaviour. I try to offer an empathetic and human approach without losing the quality and evidence behind the work. I take the time to understand each person’s story, relationships, communication, sensory needs, environment, and what helps them feel safe.
Trauma-informed care is central to how I support. I recognise that many people who engage in behaviours of concern have experienced stress, fear, misunderstanding, exclusion, or environments that have not met their needs. My goal is to develop support that feels respectful, practical, safe, and empowering, while reducing risk and improving quality of life.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my miniature dachshund puppy named Albert, at the gym, or out watching live music! Things that help me to stay grounded and energised.
